 A healthy society depends on people who care enough to participate. That does not mean everyone needs to run for office or become a public speaker. Participation often begins quietly, through volunteering, asking thoughtful questions, learning about local concerns, or making space for another person's experience. Strong community advocacy can turn these ordinary actions into meaningful improvements while helping people recognize that their choices are connected to a much larger world.
